Medical Emergency Skills Development Programme

INTRODUCTION

Responding to medical emergencies require evidence based knowledge and precise life saving skills. All Physicians can become experts in these fields by learning appropriate skills and knowledge. Anaesthesiologists,ICU specialists and emergency physicians frequently face these challenges at the coalface.,therefore it is very important to teach these skills to the teachers in these sub specialities in order for them to teach their trainees with precision.

“Learning is a lifelong process, the key to an effective learning is to encourage students to learn ,I don’t believe that students who are willing to learn should be shamed and blamed at any stage of the learning process.”

“Learning is a bilateral process, we should be open to learn even from our students and teachers witch equal impetus, as a matter of fact we should be prepared to learn from anything and anybody that contributes to enhance the safety and quality of the outcome of our practice.

A feedback will be obtained from the course participants to reflect their experience, analysing their improved confidence in addressing these emergency responses and to see if they recommend any further suggestion to our course.
